Oat flakes can be used in a variety of ways to reap their benefits. Here's an easy recipe to prepare an oatmeal-rich breakfast.
Oatmeal is a delicious solution for a perfect breakfast meal and is ideally combined with pears and our own Apple Oat and Apple Product.
Preparation time: 10 minutes, plus 4 hours waiting time in the refrigerator
Servings: 1
Components:
2 scoops Herbalife Nutrition Formula 1 Banana Cream
2 scoops Protein Drink Mix
½ sp. powdered cinnamon
1 scoop Herbalife Nutrition's "Oat, Apple and Edible Fiber"
175ml + 2 tbsp. cold water
½ pear, finely chopped
30g of oat flakes
Implementation:
1. In a small bowl, mix the chopped pear, oats, apple and edible fiber and 2 tbsp. cold water. Stir well. Allow the mixture to sit as you prepare the oat flakes.
2. In a jar or in a small bowl mix the oat flakes, Formula 1 and Protein Beverage with a fork. Gradually add the rest of the water, stirring until the mixture is homogenized. Add the pear mixture on top. Cover tightly with the lid of the jar or cover with a transparent film and refrigerate for 4 hours or overnight.
3. If desired, sprinkle with extra cinnamon before serving.
